Gravity Settle Plates for Passive Air Sampling (10-Pack)
The 100 mm gravity settle plates facilitate easy and inexpensive passive monitoring of air quality for room areas. The plates contain tryptic soy agar USP for the development of bacterial contamination. These settle plates are used for the identification of microorganisms that settle out in the quiescent facility room air. Appropriate for obtaining a non-quantitative representation of the kinds of organisms present. These products are time-sensitive and should be used expeditiously.
***During warm weather stretches, ice packs are included to prevent melting of agar. As long as the agar has not run out of the plates, they are fine to use even though the ice packs have thawed and the plates appear warm.
***During cold weather stretches, cold packs are included to prevent freezing of agar. As long as the agar has not frozen, they are fine to use even though the cold packs have frozen and the plates appear cold.
