The plates contain tryptic soy agar USP for the development of bacterial contamination. These settle plates are used for the identification of microorganisms that settle out in the quiescent facility room air. Appropriate for obtaining a non-quantitative representation of the kinds of organisms present. These products are time-sensitive and should be used expeditiously.
